2.Need for validation
Narcissists need constant attention, and though they may come across as super confident people, they are always seeking approval in the eyes of others. Be it with their looks, or their work, if your guy’s a narcissist, he’ll need you to keep telling him how good he is at everything.
3. Control freak
Okay, so this point is one of the biggest symptoms of a narcissist. Since narcissists are continually disappointed with the imperfect way life unfolds, they want to do as much as possible to control it and mould it to their liking. He will always try to mend your ways, point out your faults, highlight your flaws – all under the pretext of helping you evolve into a better person, with a better life. The truth is, all he wants is control. He feeds off of the sense of dependency he creates in others.
4. Blame games and deflection
Though they revel in having the ability to control another human being’s life, when it comes to taking responsibility for something, or owning up to anything – they will always backtrack. Instead, they will find a way to turn things around in such a way, it will make you question your own sanity.They are pros at deflecting.
5. Lack of Empathy
Narcissists fail to see anything from the point of view of another person, and are often under the misconception that they have the ability to think objectively. They are, however, extremely perceptive, and can pick up on any signs of danger, threat, or any change in vibes
