A new mum died after complaining to her husband she felt unwell while going to bed.
Rachel Barnes has given birth just eight weeks before her husband found her dead on their bedroom floor.
The mum-of-two, 36, was struck down by pancreatitis which lay undetected, an inquest heard.
The inquest at Cleethorpes Town Hall heard she died from haemorrhagic pancreatitis of an unknown cause, reports the Grimsby Telegraph .
Concluding the inquest, Grimsby and North Lincolnshire Assistant Coroner Mark Kendall said Mrs Barnes, from Grimsby, was a wife, mother and successful career woman whose “life was taken in tragic circumstances.”
He told how she was discovered on her bedroom floor on August 16 last year, by her husband Steve, who had been caring for their two children downstairs in order for his wife to get a good night’s sleep.
